Terriers pound out 16 hits in win over Lobos.

Terriers defeated Sylvania Lobos 15-4 thanks to a strong start. Terriers scored on an error and a home run by Jon Conkle in the first inning.

Terriers captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Terriers.

Terriers scored seven runs in the fifth inning. Terriers scored on a walk by Jared Houser, a single by Andy Fletcher, a single by Will Haueter, a single by Jake Miller, and a single by Luke Kail.

Justin Hovorka earned the win for Terriers. He threw five innings, giving up four runs, six hits, and striking out seven. Darricle Jones took the loss for Sylvania Lobos. He pitched four innings, surrendering eight runs, ten hits, striking out four, and walking one.

Home runs for Terriers came when Evan Maley homered in the third inning and Jon Conkle homered in the first and third innings.

Terriers collected 16 hits. Haueter, Fletcher, Kail, Conkle, Maley, and Chad Matthus each collected multiple hits for Terriers. Fletcher and Haueter each managed three hits to lead Terriers. Terriers didn't commit a single error in the field. Austin White had the most chances in the field with eight.

Sylvania Lobos had six hits in the game. Devin Stanley and George Pastor each collected multiple hits for Sylvania Lobos.
