Terriers Beats Sylvania Lobos By Seven Runs!
Terriers blew out Sylvania Lobos 9-2 on Saturday.
Terriers took the lead for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Chad Matthus singled off of Reid Olmstead, driving in one run, Dalton Davis doubled off of Olmstead, driving in two runs, and Olmstead induced Jared Houser to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.
Matthew Kittelberger earned the win for Terriers. He tossed seven innings, allowing two runs, five hits, and striking out nine. Olmstead took the loss for Sylvania Lobos. He threw five innings, allowing seven runs, six hits, and striking out three.
Andy Fletcher and Davis each drove in two runs to lead Terriers.
Christian Stanziano went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Sylvania Lobos in hits.
