Red Sox break open a close one to ensure the win.

Red Sox starter David White only allowed 2 runs in 7 innings to set the pace. Chris Healey led the Sox hitter with a 4-hit day. Although the Red Sox had tons of hits, the key was taking advantage of many untimely errors by the Blues, which led to almost all Sox runs being unearned. Blues starter Armando Mesa pitched much better than the results.
