Kittelberger Throws Shutout As Terriers Defeats Creekside

Matthew Kittelberger didn't allow a single run as Terriers defeated Creekside Crocodiles 3-0 on Saturday. Kittelberger allowed just four hits and got Matt Hultquist to hit into a fielder's choice to end the game.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Matthew Kittelberger struck out seven, while Tanner Teconchuk sat down nine.

Terriers captured the lead in the first inning. A wild pitch by Teconchuk scored one run for Terriers.

A single by Bryan Fryda in the fourth inning was a positive for Creekside Crocodiles.

Kittelberger earned the win for Terriers. He pitched seven innings, surrendering zero runs, four hits, striking out seven, and walking one. Teconchuk took the loss for Creekside Crocodiles. He tossed six innings, surrendering three runs, six hits, and striking out nine.

Austin White, Garrett Crum, Evan Maley, Jon Conkle, Luke Kail, and Jared Houser each managed one hit to lead Terriers.

Tyler Cannon went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Creekside Crocodiles in hits. Creekside Crocodiles was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Tom Cannon had the most chances in the field with ten.
