The Commack Blasters traveled to North Carolina for the 2007 CASL Raleigh Shootout Showcase and showed up ready to play and demonstrated their skills from the start of play. Two first half goals were good in securing a 2-0 opening round win over the MSC Santos.

Commack's opening goal was picture perfect as Carly's cross was professionally headed into the back of the net by Jen for the 1-0 opening goal. Nicky threaded a ball to Ashley who aggressively played through the Montgomery keeper for a 2-0 halftime lead.

Sara's fine play in the first half was followed by Stephanie's second half clean sheet. Excellent play from all our players secured a great performance in front on fourty-four registered college coaches.
