Winter 2009 GW Indoor Practice Schedule
U15 Boys take 1st. Place
November 29, 2008
During the Thanksgiving break, the U15 boys played in the Long Island Rough Riders tournament at the Cunningham Sports Center, in Queens. There the boys played against, Albertson Roma, Lake Grove United, and SUSA Commack Academy. The boys finished the night with 2-Wins and 2-Ties, beating Albertson in the final to capture 1st place.

Congratulations to the U14 Girls who went undefeated and won the
sports(wo)manship award in the Westchester Youth Soccer League this fall.
Also it was a great season for all 7 of the girls teams this fall. All of the teams improved throughout the fall and showed great determination in games and practices.
Congratulations Asphalt Green Wave Girls on a great fall and keep up the hard work over winter.

Congrats U11 Girls Green on a great final fall game today! The team fought with determination and strength all season and earned a second place finish in the WYSL, tying the 1st place team in a nailbiter today, and they enjoyed a 2nd place finish in the FC Westchester Columbus Day Tournament.

Green Wave Girls cheered on Columbia University to a victory. Our U12 Girls played vs. Riverdale at halftime! This was a great opportunity to watch quality women's college soccer. Thanks to all who came!

Equipment required for training:
Shin Guards are required to be worn at ALL practices and games.
Suitable footwear to be worn for practices and games, either soccer cleats or turf shoes.
Please remember to bring soccer ball and water to every practice.
Bring the right attitude and be prepared to give it your all, because the way you practice is how you'll perform in matches.
