Entry ID: 1468226 | I can't believe I ran across this site and it is still up and running, and even better than the original, I might add! Very nice site indeed. I can make that statement since it was I who initiated the first AAUA website back in the late 90s as "Old No. 24."
I recognize a few faces from 15 years ago, and a few names of still active umps, and that's great to see. Unfortunately, I was forced to give it up a few years back due in great part to a bad MCL in my left knee (thanks to all those years behind the plate I'm sure), not to mention that this 9-month summer here in Florida is just too damn hot!
My best to all the guys who remember me and with whom I worked so many games back in the day. I would welcome an email from anyone who cares to catch up on the past 10 years. I have to say I do miss being out there on the field! |
