I'm Dirk Dessel from Pine Valley and have been coaching Little League in Mountain Empire for 4 seasons as well as helping with board duties as much as possible.
In short, many of us in Pine Valley and Descanso are sick of how this league has been run, huge amounts of money unaccounted for, zero attendance at district presidents meetings, paying the bills while the Campo crowd makes all the decisions (we try to run for key board positins and get blown out of the water every time - there are too many of them and they own the board).
We've got nearly a whole team of kids who are moving out of Little League (13 yr olds). Is it possible for us to join your league for winter ball (assume you play winter ball) and/or regular season ?
Ultimately many of us would like to see Pine Valley/Descanso break away from Mountain Empire LL and join with the Alpine system. We have many talented parents who are willing to help but we're simply not allowed to participate. Any advice is appreciated.
