Wanted to let you know what a great job you did running the 10 year old state tournament. We have been to many tournaments over the years and this was one of the best run of them all! From the snack bar, announcers, umpires to the grounds crew, everybody was great. Your hard work definately paid off.
On a side note,I witnessed the "altercation" between a Phoenixville fan and Dave (during the Phx/Audubon game). At no time was Dave inappropriate or disrespectful to the fan. Dave is a great guy and the coaches from the other leagues have great respect for him and all the hard work he puts into youth baseball.
Thanks again for a great tournament.

Entry ID: 1164140 | Thanks to all who participated in our run through Districts and into the States. There is nowhere I'd rather my children play than ARA. From our leadership to our moms and dads, we exhibit a tremendous family atmosphere at all levels. ARA is a great place for kids to learn.
Best of Luck to our 9's and 11's in States, and to Coach Wolfe (12's) in the Regionals. The 10's will be behind you every step of the way.

Entry ID: 1157841 | Great job by the 10yo all stars who defeated defending PA State Champion Springford not once, but twice to win the inaugural District 4 championship. Facing elimination, Big Blue defeated an overconfident Springford squad 19-18 in 8 innings Friday night. In the championship game on 7/7/07, your Big Blue once again came out on top, this time 1-0, to claim the District crown. Major props to Coach Dave and the boys for believing and getting it done. Big Blue nation was loud and proud...thanks to all who cheered the boys on. Next stop - PA state tournament at Audubon, beginning 7/14. |
