Our first game (exhibition) of the season was very good. The boys showed a lot of talent and skill. For a team that has several new players, they played very well together. I liked the way our boys moved the ball around, passing and making good plays. There was good possession in the first half and spacing with occasional bunching. What impressed me was the way most of the players implemented what was told to them when they came off the field between shifts. An example of this was the difference in the way they handled the Corner kicks. They seemed to get a bit excited towards the end and started rushing and played with a sense of urgency instead of slowing the game down a bit and getting back to the possession style play they started with. All in all, I'm very pleased and encouraged with the way our boys played and can only see major improvements as this group of boys develop as a TEAM. Well Done Boys... Coach Roy
