Entry ID: 2019824 | Ok listen, the new staff has a head coach and from the day his son was my starting center on the 9zero he has been in my ear about everything not just what to coach but how to get it across to get the best out of your players, he's been in Greg's ear, he's been in Kev's ear and has sat down with all of us over these past few years and WE, not just I give Harvey a full vote of confidence. With that said please, please do not go into this close minded and with a bad taste as it is not the MAB way. Open your hearts and arms and embrace the change it will be fine. Congrats to all the gold ball holders and to all pounds for a great season. I would like to thank all supporters of the org. for your continued support. Special shouts to the 75lb varsity parents for letting me a part of your kids lives it was truly my pleasure. I also would like to thank the 90lb coaching staff for taking the time to teach my boys how to play the right way. Coach Greg and Kev I will always be in debt to you guys and will be missed next season.

Second i would like to say thank you to the greatist orgnization on the planet for allowing me to be a small part of it both as player and as a coach. As much as it pains me to say this "I will not return as a coach on the 90lb. coaching staff" after 15 years and countless hours on and off the field of nothing but football (bantam football) it's time! To all my 9zero coaches greatest group of guys i have ever had the opportunity to call my brothers. (truely) My dudes, ya'll held me down DAKN,G_DUB, SAY CHEESE (Norton), GAMEDAY, JAZZY FIZZLE, EDDIE, UNCLE BUDDY, MR. HARRIS (AWWWW MAN), COACH CUZZ'N (DAMON), CJ, COACH SCOTTY (My youth coach and mentor)AND GANGWAR. If i had to do it all over again i would not change a thing!!!! Gill my man you have a good group of coaches there just make sure they continue to evolve and change with the game and all will be fine. TO ALL OF THE OFFENSIVE LINE COACHES- remember to focus on your guys and show them they are who matter the most and challenge them daily to be better tomorrow than they we're today!!! and gill and my brother Kev knows how to get intouch with me if anyone needs help. (but you gotta come to me and know what what you need help on) Harvey you da man, keep growing brother, keep growing!!! Just had to throw that out there... 1.2.3. 9zero 4.5.6. MAB 4LIFE!!! Every year, you guys are in the hunt. I don't care what nobody says, you guys are that work! Keep it up, you'll get that thing! Shout out to Ernie, earl and the gang on the 105's. Your record on the 105lb level is amazing. Giving the kids a chance to win every week ain't easy. But, yall seem to figure it out year in, and year out. I'm proud of all yall! To the 9zero......What to say...what to say! You guys are the real deal. In my 23 years of coaching MAB, I have never had more fun the what I've had with you guys over the last 15. 7 gold balls is nothing to sneeze at. Luv you dudes. To every player within the MAB Family, you are the true definition of what a champion is. Hard work, dedication, team work, family, friends, school work is what determines the make up of a young person. You all make me proud each and every day that I have a chance to be around. I'm a die hard MAB 4L'er. PLease continue to make this organization the ABSOLUTE BEST within, and outside of the city. because of you, we are MAB!! Your organization will always play a special part in my life. But as things do in life. We grow, we move on and we expand. As a youth I played on the 1978 American Conference 100lb. Team that list to Roslyn in the championship out in Brigentine, Nj. I now have two sons that are playing great ball for our Overbrook Monarchs. We meet beginning this Friday night in the season opener under the lights. I expect it to be an all out war as these two great organizations write the latest chapter of what has become an anticipated rivalry. May God Grant you all good health and his traveling mercies as we look so very forward to playing you this Friday Night under the lights. This being my 45th birthday (Sept. 14th ) I think you know what I asked my son Carl-Cahl-Cahl-Miller for?..lol...a win over my childhood team. We shall see. God Bless! |
