I would like to thank ALL of the players on the 8 Year Old All-Star team for making this past summer one of the best I have ever had !! The passion that you all showed for the game of baseball was incredible! Your enthusiasm, determination, and hard work made coaching you enjoyable and easy! I hope I am lucky enough to do it again! You've beaten some solid teams to get as far as you have gotten, and you have forced other teams to take notice of who WE are and to be on the LOOK OUT! Thank you parents for your being their for your children in more ways than one. You guys did it all. You came to every game (even when we had three in one day), you brought coolers of water, cookies, cake, waited in traffic for two hours, etc. Thats the kind of dedication and passion that was instilled in all of your children. The way your children behave is a reflection of the way that you are bringing them up. Based upon what I saw in the duggout and on the field this past summer...YOU ARE ALL DOING A GREAT JOB ! ! ! THANKS AGAIN SEE YOU ALL NEXT SUMMER !!!

Good morning. Please allow me to elaborate on the 12-year-old's game last night. First, it is Regionals, and every team there had to win their states to make it there, and the calibur of play and performance increases, as does the level of talent amongst these young men .... To speak for Bayonne's players, they played terrific. It was our first Regional game and they worked together as a team, always supported each other, and overall, played well. Tonight, is game two. I believe it is the best out of four that make it to the playoffs and then finally, championships. If I can, speaking for all of the parents of the 12-year-old All Star team, we are all very proud of these talented young men for making it as far as they have, and for continuing to go out there and play their hearts out each and every game .... Go Bayonne!!

Let's go 8 yr olds. You have one more to go. Let's bring another state title (12 yr olds were first) back to Bayonne this season. I'm sure I am speaking for all us parents when I say "We are extremely proud of what you kids have accomplished." I wish I could have been there to watch such an AWESOME game. You guys have way too much talent to stop here. NO WAY, will I miss tonights game. I hope to see a repeat performance of last nights game....Well, maybe you guys can open up the score a little more. Us parents can't take anymore of these One run games. Each One of you have made great contributions to get you to where you are now. Do it again tonight! GOOD LUCK BOYS!!!

I would like to give congrats to the 8yr olds on an impressive win tonight against a tough Flemington team. In all my years as a player and coach I NEVER seen a well played game like I saw tonight. And this is by 8yr olds! The defense was outstanding by both teams all the swear and hard work paid off for this young group. They turned two double plays in the game. One in which the 3rd baseman throw to first and then the 1st baseman throw a PERFECT STRIKE BACK TO THIRD! The catcher threw out a guy at third as well! All of the kids were backing up throws to the bases it was a pretty good thing to see tonight. Also the 3 pitchers that pitched tonight throw a no-hitter! To me, as a coach, it was like a perfect game because tonight the WHOLE TEAM WAS PERFECT from the top of the lineup to the last kid in the lineup! Great job guys keep it up tomorrow night for the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! So people if didn't see tonights game come out and support these kids on Saturday July 26 at 7pm in Colonia for a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! Bring family, friends, aunts, uncles, grandma, and grandpa and everyone else that you can find. Plus the game is FREE and will be more exciting then seeing the METS AND YANKEES!

For the 8 yr olds on a d6 championship and as of today so far a 14-5-1 record and a state playoff game this Friday...and for the 11 yr olds....who won the d6 title, edison championship and who are currently 2-0 in the states.....keep the wins coming !!!
