Entry ID: 1685626 | i would like to say that i am very disapointed that the midgit football team is not going to play any games this year due to not having the number of required players on the roster.i do want to say that the players we did have,and having the chance to meet and coach will be missed. These young men came out and did what was expected of them until the end. I know that this team would have given some of the other organizations a good battle.Heck, we may have a won a few games this year.I would like to say to all of the players,I hope you never give up on this sport,as well as anything in life. For this is a lesson in itself.We will need to learn to deal with this and move forward and realize that not everything goes as planned. But we have to move on and make the very best of what we have to work with.I hope you can go and compete somewhere, whether it be another organization, or playing in high school next year.I want to wish all of you the very best of luck,and hope to come and see some of you on the football field or whatever it is you choose to participate in for years to come.Respectfuly, Coach Dave |

The Midget Football Division is in need of players. If you know of any kids who want to play football this season please have them call me- Coach dave @ 410-422-5027.
We need players from ages 11,12,13,14 and weigh up to 160 lbs. Players 15 years old can only be a maximum of 140 lbs. Practice begins on August 3rd. I have all the information that they need to participate. We will need all of the information back before practice begins. So hurry up and sign up. There will be a parent meeting at the Berlin Fields at the pavillion on Monday July 13th @ 6:00 PM if you want a registration packet to sign up. Please call right away as the season is approaching. Lets play some football!!!! |

The Midget team for ages 11-15 went okay, but have plenty of spots to fill.Please contact me @ 410-422-5027 if you are interested in playing football this fall.I have all the neccessary paper work that must be filled out and returned no later than July 15th.(two weeks before practice begins on Aug.3rd.)This would include a 2009 physical, your final term and year end report card, and a copy of the participants birth certificate.There is also a page in which the parents and participants must sign to insure participation.I would be glad to assist in anyway that I can in the registration process.Lets Play some Football!! |

I would encourage all who are indirectly and directly involved come and be included in the monthly board meetings that are held every second Thursday of every month of the year. It is at this forum that you will know what President and coach Tony and his organization does to be able to prepare for each and every season. The league representitives would appreciate any help that is neccessary to assist in raising the funds that are required to being able to field 4-football teams and 4-cheering squads.I look forward to having a large number of kids sign up this year and cant wait until we get started!! Kids,keep working hard in school so that you can qualify for a scholastic award this year.See you all soon! |
