Let me say this to the 90lb Bears Team!!! Your standings do NOT reflect the type of team that you are. You guys are a very strong, agressive and talented team. Anyone that sleeps on you guys are in for a rude awakening!!! Your spirit is very high and you guys showed to be true athletes and NEVER hung your heads. I totally respect you guys. You guys have a great coaching staff and great players. It was a pleasurable and very fun game for both sides regardless of the weather. Keep up the good work Bears Organization!!!

The Guestbook has been edited and will be closed if the negativity continues. This is a tool which has been valuable to communicate between organizations and within them. Please keep comments within those boundaries so that it can stay open. Bear Fans: Please ignore taunting by other organizations - we do not need to respond to them, have the pride that we have shown year in and out which has made us a well-respected and successful organization. Other Organization members: Please celebrate and criticize on your own websites. This is youth football, and although it tends to become very serious, it is about the kids so stop making it personal. Have a happy holiday season and best of luck in 08'

For any fans of Bishop Egan/Conwell Egan football, long-time coach Mike Tos, Egan's biggest supporter, passed away on Tuesday, December 4th. For those of you who knew Mike, he was the most dedicated supporter the school had. Mike truly was EGAN FOOTBALL. Please visit tedsilary.com and go to the tribute page to read all the wonderful things so many people who loved and admired Mike have to say. Funeral arrangements are there, as well. May he live in football heaven forever!! RIP Michael.

We wanted to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped us in the snack stand this season. It's not always easy with kids and work and schedules, but the effort and time you give back to the kids is very much appreciated and you are to be thanked a million times over! Also, refund checks will be issued and if you don't receive yours within the next few weeks, please email me at bear.mom@hotmail.com and give me your name, address, phone number, name of your child and which team or squad they played or cheered on. We hope to see many of you back again next year, along with some new faces!! Go Bears!!!

The kids were very kind from Bucks County and I agree it was nice to see them interacting with our Bears. But , your parents and team dad need to lighten up. For one, there was no need to threaten a kid who is doing everything to make weight, that if he doesn't hurry up we will have to forfeit the game. Then you guys complained that there was no weight chart present. Cmon now are you serious. The worst thing was watching your 65lb coaches complaining outside of ur stadium. It's a shame when grown men forget that this is all for the kids. LIGHTEN UP BUCKS COUNTY STAFF AND TEAM DADS!

Hwy Bear Mom :) I told you B-Mom were greedy :) I myself took out four of them Bear Burgers and County Fries myself......as I also saw your 7Five lb's were pretty hungry too. WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY2GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BEARS. I too am glad the game was with out injuries. And most important it looks like the kids had fun. LoL I think my son had more fun playing on the side field with some of his team mates and some of your kids. they had a pretty good game going on over there. Oh and b-4 I 4-get I left a blue drawstring bag with Graham on it and it had my sons blue braves football jacket in it. If anyone happen to have seen it please let me know :( Thank you Bears for a great time some good games and a very filling lunch :) GOOD LUCK with the rest of your season BEARS !!!!!!!!! Hey Mike's Dad! It was a great weekend for football and you were right...you Braves are a hungry bunch!!! Hope you enjoyed what we had to offer! Thanks for your support of our concession stand. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries this year, unlike last year. The incident you spoke of was MY son, and it was wayyyyyyy more than a pair of glasses. It took until July of this summer for ALL of his surgeries to be completed and the cost was extensive to say the least. I am glad to hear you teach your son the right way to play the game, but sadly, some people do not and want a W at any cost. I've been around too long and heard too many adults say things that I guess are meant to be motivation, but children hear things differently. Good luck with the rest of the season!!!

Hi Bear MoM :) I too hope the game is with out injuries but full of fun and sportsmenship because thats what it's all about in the end. I teach my son to play VERY agressive because thats the name of the game. I also teach him that when he knock an opponent down to help him up. My son understands the game well and he know his role as a player. He by no means go into a game looking to break out body bags. Somtimes as we all know there are kids on the feild that are there because there parents want them there (being real)and unfortunatly things somtimes happen. It's hard for me to think that a organization /coach/parent would get into this wanting to hurt another child because of the color of there jersey. (Were not Crips nor Bloods) I am thinking of a missunderstanding concerning a child and his glasses last season that I wont go into because I dont know the facks. All I know is come game time #31 will be out there playing his game the way it is meant to be played. So Bear Mom tell the concession get those BearDogs on the grill keep the sodas on ice because me and the rest of the Braves family are greedy and we like to eat :) Let's have some fun, enjoy some great games, eat, laugh and cheer all the kids on!!!!!! Thanks to everyone who has signed up to help at the snack stand so far this year. Don't forget, it is mandatory to volunteer in order to get your snack stand fee back. So if you have not signed up yet, we have schedules in the snack stand. Just stop up and pick your times. Some of you have signed up and then failed to show up at your time to help. PLEASE, if you find you cannot keep your committment, call to let us know. We NEED your help and it will cause the stand to close in the event we cannot get volunteers or if volunteers just fail to show up!!
