We are a newly formed 10U AA Baseball Club called the Carrollton CATS. Our philosophy is simple - make it fun, teach fundamentals, stress character and wrap it all around the wonderful game of baseball! We have two remaining December tournaments to play and then the new year will be here. We will hold tryouts for our Spring 2010 roster in January. We are looking for passionate players. We are looking for leaders. We are looking for those who are open to coaching, willing to give their best effort and play with a team first attitude. Contact me directly at 214-701-9406 or d.randall@thomsonreuters.com

9/10 NY Yankees wish to give a shout out note of congratulations to Scott Pendley/President of U4K. Our game versus the Rockies on 6/6/09 marked his 1,200 game as an umpire. CONGRATULATIONS to Scott

U4K offered a two game "pre-season" tune up. U4K tied this 2 game series with a great community outreach program - raising donations to benefit the Metrocrest Social Services. 20 teams participated (Dallas, The Colony, Farmers Branch and Carrollton areas). Our goal was to donate 600 items. We finished with 1,700+ items. Great baseball - great community spirit. Thanks to Scott & Gary and the entire crew at U4K (www.u4k.org)
