I consider it a priviledge to be a part of the CVHS Baseball Team and am honored that you guys have accepted me into the program. Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors I look forward to helping you out in any way I can next year. You guys have character and I want to help you bring that to the public. But, hey it's not about you. It's about our Seniors. I....I am very very honored to be considered a semi-equal with you on the team. Bodner I am sorry if I ticked you off sometimes but I am going to tell you that you are one of the best players in all aspects that I have ever seen. Woodard, I just met you but you are a really great player and I have a feeling, in my inexperience with baseball, that you will go bigtime. For the rest of the seniors I enjoyed being with you for the past 2 years. I look forward to hopefully seeing you during legion if not on the news or ESPN. A special part of our website will be posted for you graduating seniors shortly. I got your stats done and Coach Anderson and I will post them shortly.
To the team as a whole I want to say that you guys are awesome. No matter what anyone says you won league. You went through the playoffs. Understand that this program and what it stands for is unique against all others. Although many other schools, namely Lassen, think that we are a cruddy school and disrespectful and a whole other bunch of 'stuff', for lack of a better word, I know and want you to know that you are a Pro team. You are a team of unmatched skill. YOU are CVHS Baseball, YOU represent Northern California Baseball. Never forget that. Never. |
