Actually I just wanted to say thank you to all of the parents, coaches, and board members who have made Elk Grove Cal Ripken what it is today. Like many other boys, this is Zack's last year as he will be moving on as a 13 year old next year. We have many fond memories of Cal Ripken baseball and we just want to say thanks.

Entry ID: 1574259 | Kids are growing up faster than ever. The games that kids play today tend to involve batteries and/or endless cords. Baseball however remains strong and only needs something small and round, a stick, and friends. I'd like to say thank you to any person who takes the time to "play" baseball. Thank you for reminding us how to "play", and for encouraging our youth to unplug the cords. |
