2020 Girls Tournament -  February 8 & 9, 2020

2020 Boys Tournament -  February 22 & 23, 2020 

Tournament Information:

The 22nd Annual Forest Grove Hoop Tournament is going to have separate tournaments again for the boys and girls teams. The girls tournament is scheduled for February 8 and 9, 2020 and the boys tournament is February 22 and 23, 2020. The tournament is for school teams in the 4th to 8th grade with A & B divisions.

Both tournaments will be held at local Forest Grove junior high and high school gyms. The cost of the tournament is only $175. Teams are guaranteed three games.

Rules:
We will play OSAA High School Rules except for the following:

* Shortened Half Time (3 minutes or less)
* 16 minute stop time halves
* Two timeouts per half (no carryover)
* 1st overtime - 3 minutes
2nd overtime - 2 minute 3rd overtime - 1 minute
*** Note: 1 timeout per overtime (no carryover)
* Game ball must be supplied by one of the teams playing and agreed upon by both coaches and referees
* NO ZONE DEFENSE FOR 4th, 5th and 6th GRADE TEAMS
* Games will go to “running time” if one team is up by 20 points with 5 minutes or less in the game
* No full court pressure if team is up by 20 points.

Tournament organizers reserve the right to add or combine divisions based on level of play and the number of teams signed up for each division.

Trophies will be given for 1st place finishers in each division for each tournament.

Text or call Joe Baumgartner at 503-318-3758 to reserve a spot in the tournament and then click on the FORMS tab and then HANDOUTS of this website and print out and mail in the Registration Form with your check. Hurry and register - we had to turn away teams last year.

Please inform parents, family members and friends that there is a per day admission charge of $5 per adult, $3 for Seniors and $1 for children. Children under six are free. This tournament is a fundraiser for Forest Grove High School basketball teams.
