Entry ID: 1670774 | We've got a tough one coming up this week men. I have never seen a group so determined. Fast wide outs with great hands, killer running back, solid offensive line and an evasive qb who can make something out of nothing. The defense is 100 miles an hour down hill. great down line man, fast d ends, linebackers that will crack you when they have to and run you down when they need to. A secondary that know one wants to throw into. An exceptional placekicker and very good special teams. You know what, I'd be a little nervous if I was Henry because that is the description of the Generals. Let's strive to be one of those rare teams that wins games because they are supposed to. Conshy shmonshy.

Entry ID: 1653602 | The wolves scrimmage was an eye opener. 1 We can not win on individual play. We play as a team and then we will win the game. Electric city will not be an easy opponent. GET FOCUSED! Winners don't wait for chances, they take them. |

Entry ID: 1651296 | I am looking forward to our game with the Wolves on saturday, I am sure you all are too. I was looking around the Wolves web site hoping to find something calling us out in some way. I wasn't able to find anything and it seems to me that the Wolves are either a class act or they are not concerned with us at all. I hope for their sake that they are a class act. To not be concerned with the Generals would be a big mistake for anyone. I finally did turn up one bit of info on there website that you might be interested in. "The Wolves and the Generals met in a 2008 post season game, with the Generals coming away with a 14-8 win. The New York Forum odds makers give the nod to the Wolves by 3" in there June 27th preseason meeting. We will have to beat them more convincingly this time if we are to get any respect from them. |

Entry ID: 1616470 | Great workout today Generals!
Saw some good things today from some new players trying out. I was really impressed with the passion and determination of some guys. The shuttle run exemplified that determination. A few of you guys really busted a gut, and that shows your teammates YOU CARE!! That translates to winning in the close games. Working hard is contagious, and hard work always pays off. Respect your teammates and work hard. The love will make us winners again, and this team is something special, BUT ONLY if you dedicate yourselves to W I N!
When you are on Or off the field always be thinking. W (whats) I (important) N (now) WIN= whats important now!! HAVE A GREAT YEAR GENERALS!! |

Entry ID: 1605502 | People don't play sports because its fun. Ask any athlete, most of them hate it, but they couldn't imagine their life with out it. Its part of them, the love/hate relationship. Its what they live for. They live for the practices, parties, cheers, long bus rides, invitationals, countless pairs of different types of shoes, water, Gatorade, & coaches you hate but appreciate. They live for the way it feels when they beat the other team, and knowing those two extra sprints they ran in practice were worth it. They live for the way they become a family with their team, they live for the countless songs they sing in their head while training all those hours. They live for the competition, they live for the friends, the practices, the memories, the pain, its who they are. It's who WE ARE.

Entry ID: 1584349 | Hope all are well and had a nice offseason. It is less than a week till we get started. I want to build on our success of last year. Everything we do is going to be a little more focused this year. Our practices will be more regimented and we must all work on conditioning. Offensively we must score more points. We have a plan for this.
defensively we are the defending #1 defense in the league. That is great, but we can do even more. I want to create more turnovers. We are going to drill all sorts of ways for getting the ball from the opponent. I want it to be foremost in your thoughts when you see the ball carrier. Take him down and get the ball.
See you all at the meeting.
