Excellent write-up! I really appreciate your words on this site and how you share your beliefs with those you work with and your family.
Little known fact - I was in Desert Shield and Desert Storm from Sept 1990 to March 1991. I Spent my 20th birthday on top of a sand hill digging a fox hole to set up a perimeter for protecting our Army Unit. I truly appreciate those who are serving our military (whether State side or abroad - it is not an easy service)!

Entry ID: 1163707 | Hey Ray.....not that it matters....but I noticed on the last game you had me down for 5 hits with 3 at bats......I figured you couldn't see straight through the tears of defeat. Before the last game my batting avg. was 22 for 32 and I went 3 for 3 in the last game with a final of 25 for 35 or .714 batting. If you add in the 7 for 7 walks that should be 32 for 42 OBP or .762. My best season ever I'm sure, but I want it to be legit. Don't worry about sponsoring my league fees or IN-N-OUT either.......but I would love a new keepsake softball with the season, team name, and stats on it for my mantle. Just write it on there with Sharpie and it will give me something to shoot for. Thanks for managing all us knuckleheads. |

The thing that always keeps me coming back to fly right though is the good attitudes and the humble teamwork. We really work as a team.......it is so much fun that way. I know if I am having a bad day, someone will pick me up. That just makes me want to do that much better for the team and keeps me coming back season after season. Great team Ray. It is really an honor to play with such a great bunch of guys. The difference really stands out on the field. |

Entry ID: 1124992 | The stat updates are great Ray! I totally blew it those last two at bats....I guess between walking 3 in a row on Tuesday and 2 in a row on Thurs. (5 consecutive ABs) I snapped and decided to swing no matter what. I still think you should mix up the line up and move everyone to the top who is over .700 though! Just an opinion though, you're coach of the year any way you slice it. Call me for BP! |
