We will be entering our North Shore Elite 10u Team in the Lake County Baseball Mike's Memorial League. We are excited and honored to play our Inaugural season as a new member of one of Illinois finest baseball leagues. I would bring a U-11 team from Kenosha, can anyone tell me what my next steps would be, I am having tryouts next week (August 25th) and have lined up some umpires and facilities. I know about the entry fee, and all, but any help would be greatly appreciated. I have had a son in your league already in the older levels and am very pleased with your levels of competition and comradery. I look forward to hearing from someone regarding this matter. |

Lake Zurich May 2, 2007 1:33:07 PM Entry ID: 1112838 | During the 4/29 game between the Lake Zurich Cougars and Lake Forest Gold U14, my son Johnny dislocated his elbow. I wanted to send out my sincere thank you to the father of the Lake Forest Gold team who without hesitation assisted Johnny. He took control of the situation, evaluated him and kept Johnny calm until the ambulance could arrive. I thank you and appreciate all of your help! I also wanted to compliment the Lake Forest Gold team for their sportsmanship in being able to identify that Johnny was hurt and immediately calling for help. I know it was a scary thing to see and believe your team handled the situation quite well. I wish you all a great season. The coaches from both teams, Lake Zurich and Lake Forest were outstanding. Everyone immediately came out to Johnny's aid and assisted him. Thank you! Johnny will be returning to baseball (4/6 weeks), he is fortunate that the elbow will heal and not require surgery.
