Entry ID: 1257929 | What an exciting Lee Youth Football season, how can we ever forget that last minute touchdown to beat Lanesboro, the first ever Black n' Orange Bowl under the lights at Consolati Field, the pizza and movie on the 50 yardline in the dark. Coach Abby not punting, Tom B. wondering why he didn't punt, the end of the seventeen year Championship drought, our senior team never saying die, and of course Championship Sunday and the traditional champions ride through Lee on the fire truck. What a great season of football, friendship and fun. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!! |

Actually my 14 year old son Paul as well as our 12 year old daughter Clare are playing american flagfootball.
I guess the difference between flagfootball and football is that with flagfootball you keep your teeth and head, while american football is more rough ?

You all have what it takes to win! I have seen it from each and everyone of you this year. Sometimes its in the form of a great tackle, a long run, a big hit! I have seen great passes, tough catches and outstanding blocks. But what I have seen most ... is a lot of heart! You play football with your heart!
And here is a secret ... the other team can not hurt your heart! Playing football, you can get bumps and bruises, scraps, even broken bones ... sure ... football is a tough game. But only you can tap into the power of your heart ... because the power of your heart is inside of you! If you pour all your heart into the game on the field ... no one can stop you ... because no one else can touch it!
