Winning the preseason, regular season & post season you guys worked really hard all season you battle back when we down you made plays when they needed to be made. You guys played with alot heart and most of all you showed respect and love for the game and that's what matter's most to me as a Coach. I'm just glad I was able to be apart of that.
Sammy Guerra Jr I want you to know that your Dad is very proud of you how you become a great player over the years knowing the game of baseball. I'm going to missing Coaching you during League Ball watching you make those plays coming threw with those hits when we needed them and running those bases but most of being a leader out there on the field. Dad just wanted to say I love you and way to finish out your last year as a 2011 City Champion.

It's pretty sad that the palyers that want to play have to go other cities to play. Or for those that do not make the high school team, do not have place to play. I know that the last spring season there was team that played. The advertisement needs to be made for those interested in playing. |

Jared Davis, Chase Warford, and Samuel Lopez. They placed 2nd in State Championships in June and placed 2nd in Nationals last week! They played awesome! Players also from La Porte: Hunter Horton, Patrick Dunkel, and Tanner Goodwin. Congrulations guys! You made us proud! |

Entry ID: 1801603 | I would like to give 2 thumbs up to the La Porte Bronco All-Stars in there recent 3 game series against Deer Park. Although we came up 1 run short, I have never been part of a series that game after game showed so many outstanding plays that ESPN would have been proud of. You guys played your hearts out and put together a tremdous effort against a very good Deer Park team. I would like to thank the all the coaches for their help and also a thank you goes out the Deer Park for accepting our invitation to play. Both teams played extremly well and I think that this is a competition that we should look to continue for the following years. Thank you everyone for your hard work and participation.

Rangers we made it from a loss at the beginning of the playoffs and bubbled all the way up to the City Championship! The hardest thing about playing baseball is learning how to lose - and not letting it break your spirit of accomplishment. This will be our lesson, how we overcome the pressures and move forward. It only makes you not only better players but better people. Let this game teach you that in baseball you can get beat, but it is how you show up at the beginning and what you take from it at the end - for your next game. Thanks Coach Johnny for a great season, you have a way to bring out the best in our kids and one thing I know they will remember is never to give up in the face of diversity. In the spirit of COMPETITION - We are the team to beat........We are the RANGERS!! |

Entry ID: 1800241 | I would like to say way to go Koby Torres on a game changing 2 RUN HOMERUN in the top of the 3rd inning. That gave us 2 run lead. I also like to say good job Pitching on the mound Cullen McDonald and Roy for making the the double play in the first inning and Adrian to lead off the game with a base hit and then scoring putting us up by 1. I also need to say great job Ryan behind the plate, and Tony for making a good catch, and Sam & Gil in the out field for keeping the ball in front and getting the ball in when it was hit and also Fox for putting a great Bunt down last night. It was a total Cardinals team effort in the win. Enjoy the rest of yall summer vaction. Way to go BRONCO CARDINALS CITY CHAMPS. |

My hat also goes off to the Bronco Rangers you guys gave us a really good ball game tonight. That was some awesome pitching on both sides of the game. I would also like to Congradulate the Pony Titans for winning the City Championship as well. I as a Coach and as a Dad am very proud of Both my Sons Sammy and Adrian Guerra for winning the City Championship. Way to go Bronco Cardinals & Pony Titans. |

Entry ID: 1799007 | Last night my son was struck out. The pitcher, his friend for the last five years. In turn my son got his friend out at 1st. Neither boy was upset about the outs. Both just glad to be playing ball. Thanks to all the coaches that made these two ball players what they are today. This is what true baseball is supposed to be. Playing ball with your friends. Enjoying the game. Always ready for the next game. Win or lose. Good luck Tigers in the playoffs! |
