Though I have not been here the past two weeks to guide and coach you as I would prefer, ya'll performed very well. I promise you all that you will learn, grow, and perform much better in the game of soccer. Congratulations to your performance. I hope you had fun, despite winning or losing. Much luck in future performances... Coach Rick. |

I hope this season was a learning experience for ya'll that have never played soccer before. Don't ever take personally the negative aspects that may transpire out there on the field. I want to thank you all for your hard work and dedication during practice and during the games. I hope ya'll enjoy your certificates and cherish your trophies for years to come. It was a priveledge being your coach. I loved every minute of it. Take care and hope to see ya'll next season. We'll be there.... |

Entry ID: 1079752 | The Fusion lost 0-4 against the Astros. The Astros had 2 great players that kept passing the ball to eachother. It is the same principle that I keep trying to teach The Fusion. Though Caden was our goalie, and with many saves that he had, all the goals that went by are a result of our defense. You have to run faster and put yourself between the ball and goal. You must pass the ball. If you're constantly running all over the field, you're going to get tired. There was great effort amongst Kyle, Lacey, Nicole, and Savannah (who came close to scoring almost 3 goals). We have two more games remaining. Let's remain positive and stay focused... Coach Rick |

Entry ID: 1074231 | What a game tonight played by the Fusion, U-6. As I've stated, if you pass the ball, you will win. Caden had 9 saves in goal, however, one ball went over his head and into the goal. The Fusion won their first game 3-1 against the Comets. Lacey (1 goal), Nicole (1 goal, first goal in 2 seasons), and Savannah (1 goal). 3 girls scored!!! Way to go kids. Juan, keep up the good work. I am so proud of you all. Parents, thank you for your involvement and participation... Good luck next week and let's keep up the momentum. P.S. Kyle, you were missed. Hope you're feeling better. Coach Rick |

Entry ID: 1067292 | What a season for our U-14 Boys, They won the Lee County Cup, it came down to PK'S and we beat them because we have Lehigh's BEST GOALIE. Then we came in a very close 2nd ( it came down to the point's)in the DC Cup for 2007. We won the America's Cup in Naples. We had a great winnig season and really great tournments. I am so proud of all of the boy's. The parent do a wonderful job getting them to and from games and cheering them on. If it were not for the parents willingness to committe to a soccer season that never ends, we would not be the great team we are. Thank you everyone.
Looking forward to another great season.
Thank you Mel and Robert for being great coaches. |

Entry ID: 1007063 | Lehigh Blast, U6 League. I can not tell you enough how proud I am of you all. You played your hearts out tonight. The first half, we were down 0-1. However, during the 2nd half, I don't know where it came from, however... 11 goals in the 2nd half, is unbelieveable. If you keep this up, and continue with the team effort tomorrow, by passing the ball, being patient, taking the appropiate kicks, and playing well on defense, our team will succeed and continue the season. Ya'll made my night and continued our season. If you want our season to continue, you know what needs to be done. Keep up the good work. Ya'll are motivated. You proved that tonight!!
Unfortunately, Uncle Sam needs me this weekend and I won't be present. With the leadership of Frank and Suzanne, I'm sure they will guide the team to a victory. Listen, play hard, and, play hard. Goals by Lionel and George. Great Job, kids. I'm very, very proud of you. Coach Rick |

Entry ID: 979004 | As a team, you all are performing much better than in the beginning of the season. When you pass the ball, you end up with more options on what to do. What a game for Lionel with 4 goals in Sunday's game, especially with the goal from center field. We tied the game 4-4 which places us in 5th place. We have 3 games remaining. What we do in practice, we must do in the games. By doing so, we will prevail. Good job everyone. Coach Rick |

Entry ID: 969702 | We played a hard game on Thursday night, however, we did not prevail against the only undefeated team, losing 6-0. We are now 4-2. Despite the amount of goals against us, both Caden and Ozzie had many great saves. Though we lost and did not score, I am very proud of all of you for your hard work and determination. Let's move forward and prepare for our next game. Coach Rick |
