Lonnie: We have allowed some 3-year olds to play in the past but we encourage you to wait until your child turns 4 before registering. For sign ups, a players official age is as of August 1st. All 4-year olds play in the Instructional League and learn through a structured but less competetive environment, although they are fully padded and wear a complete uniform and helmet. It's not for every child and that's why we refrain from allowing 3-year olds to participate. Our experience tells us most just cannot handle the physical contact. Our signups for the 2010 Fall season are in May. Please check our web site for details after the holidays. Good Luck!

I wanted to know what I needed to do to get my 3.5 yr old started playing football. Are there weight or age requirements or both. How much does it costs and any other pertinent info I might need to get him started. Thanks
