Just found site. Tom G and Dave B were there at the very beginning. They both loved hockey and this league specifically. The McGlynn's were tough competitors and well respected. I loved my time playing, and my business, family and life led me away. Mercer Locker Room, we had a good team, Conover, Aust, O'Hara, Reese, Cicia, Costa, others I forgot and of course. Ken Polaski. My only regret, it was Broad Street Bullies era, and we played like animals. Our rivalry with 3 seasons was intense, seemed like life or death. lol. A funny story to close....After clearing the snow from the court by Mountain View GC. We faced off vs Bercy's boys. We had already had a fights, including one where everybody was needed to pull Dave off my chest as he was pounding me. The court was surrounded by 2' of snow all around the court. Dave was whacking me, as usual with his stick. after he knocked me into the snow bank, with a nasty crosscheck, I lost my mind. As he ran back down ice, I crosschecked him, hard. Dave went down, I was expecting the worst. He just got up, shook his head and kept playing. I don't think we ever had another fight. But, I'm still lookin over my shoulder, lol Wish I could still play..perchance to dream...Mark Z

Thank you to the MCSHA for the honor bestowed upon Tom as a member of the Hall of Fame. Tom loved Street Hockey and loved being part of the league as both a player and an official. He introduced me to your league in 2000 and it also became a part of my life as well. I'm sorry I was not there to accept this honor on Tom's behalf but know Tom was there in spirit as was I.
