Entry ID: 1553924 | To all MBR Parents and Volunteer T.E.A.M. Leaders and Members,
On behalf of the entire MBR Board, we would like to thank you for "stepping-up-to-the-plate" and helping to make "our" recreational baseball and softball league a place to be proud of. Yes...we are just beginning the 2009 pre-season preparation and there is a lot of work still ahead of all of us to be ready for opening day, however, early indications are very positive and encouraging. With improved communication (our web-site will be our main communication vehicle this year), a structured volunteer program, creative advertising and promotion of the league, and just getting back to the basics by creating a fun and learning aspect to recreational baseball and softball, we are on the right track for a great Spring Season!
Remember to get involved, get the word out about the new MBR, tell your friends to register their sons and daughters...they will not want to miss out on being a part of MBR this season!
Thank you again and keep the messages coming by providing your input on this guestbook. Let the other parents of MBR know how you are feeling about the league.
See you soon!
Regards,
Glenn

Entry ID: 1395648 | Due to lack of communication, the Georgia Bull Dogs had to forfeit a play off game today. Special thanks to the sportsmanship of the Michigan Wolvervine coaches and players, for allowing the two BullDogs that did know there was game to join in for some practice. It was great that they split the team up and played a few innings for fun. What a shame the entire team didn't get to play a real game. (Thanks Mark!) |
