Entry ID: 1164365 | For those who volunteered their time this past weekend. Handling the regionals, was a big task with the number of parents we had.
The fields had to be chalked, watered, groomed, and bases and mounds moved. This started on Thursday night and went on Friday, Saturday , and Sunday. Late into the night.
The snack bar had to be stocked, and customers served early Saturday and Sunday until we were exhausted.
What made me most proud is the compliments we received from out of town teams.
We had parents from the 8u, 10u, and 12u teams show up and give their time.
Some of those parents had their kids playing over at the State games
Thank you: Parents/board members/ and kids that kept the place clean. |

Entry ID: 1164115 | .....as the dust settles and the heartrate returns to normal, I look back on what has been an incredible ride, driven by love, hard work, pride, and a wonderful group of families and girls. The three years that Lauren has been a part of the All-star teams (I'm only counting 12u and 14u because my head is still spinning and I can't remember 8's and 10's) have been a dream. If you consider the record of the all-star teams, it would have to be somewhere in the range of 100-15-2!!!!! You don't have to be in Jim's AV Math class to know that is special!!! Three District Champs,two State 1st and one 2nd, and a lot of trophy collecting along the way. I consider each of these girls as my daughters, and look forward to watching them take on new challenges in high school and in life.
And to all the coaches and their countless hours of help,my hat is off.
MY DREAM TEAMS, THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.
