It does my heart proud to see you're all working as hard as ever!! Must still mean that along with your fabulous talent you have some hard working band Mom's and Dad's in your corner!! I was ever so proud to be one of those Mom's...oh the button's I replaced and feather's I dried! And socks!! It took me a year or so after Laurie and Jenny graduated to stop hoarding extra socks for band!! Hugs to you all!!

Wow!!!! Well done and many congrats. I too was a member of the Panther Marching Band the first year we ever won ACC back in 1986. I still have some of the tapes from that year and previous years and once and while I will pull them out and reminisce and to this day I still get chills when I watch. I know what is feels like to be a champion, enjoy it and cherish it for you will always remember the good times when you get old....lol. Congratulations Panthers!!!!!

Despite the fact that you have remained undefeated (and have been the target of 24 other bands constant rage) you have continued do your program with the utmost skill and professionalism. Your band's success has given ours and other bands a bar that we all strive to reach-and surpass each and every year. So thanks for keeping the bar set high, and watch out, we're on to you!

Just like Mrs. Robbio, I too was outside at about 11:30 last night and thought "Oh Wow, there must be something big going on". And then I realized that something big was going on. The Panther Marching Band was coming home with another win. I hope you all are so proud of what you do 'cause you sure make anyone that knows of you proud. Congratulations to both band and staff for another amazing year. Ruthann Doyle

What an amazing show. Good job to everybody. You really deserved another win. I got chills when I saw you show, and I just watched the tape from dover. WOW, You guys worked your as......I mean butts off for it. You better win, after all the grass you make mike eat each year. Great gob Ginny and Mike for helping those kids acheive such great success. I know you thought "not another bartleson" but I hope she made you proud this year. I told her to take care of you guys, you suffered enough with me. Just wait, when nikki finishes, you'll have my daughter later. You won't be able to excape the bartleson's in the marching band. Sincerely yours, Matt "pain in the butt" Bartleson (1999, 2000, & 2002) all undefeated.

I just took my dog out on Boyd St. for her nightly business and heard a few sirens. Just routine-- someone's going to the hospital. Then I heard another..... and a few more, and it sounded like they were coming my way! I slowly realized it could only mean one thing-- the marching band did it again!!! Lacy and I ran up the street (in my pajamas) and watched you all go by! The police cars, the firetrucks, the buses with all the band members and the whole line of cars carrying proud parents and families........Congratulations to all of you!! I know it's been a lot of long hours and hard work, and I hope you enjoy the victory!! You bring a lot of pride to the community! Thanks!! FIFTEEN!!! YAAAAAYYYY!

Fantastic job at ACC's, allbeit several months after the fact. It must be all the great vibes you get from practicing at our school every year. Sorry we won't be doing ACC's in Scranton anymore, hope our bands can catch up somewhere down the road during the season. Best of luck with the upcoming season. Mr. Burdett Pittston Area Band Director PS: The golf balls last year as a gift were great. Unfortunately, the way I golf, they only lasted about 9 holes.

Hi, I am an alumni (class of 1964). I want to congratulate all of you on another win. I was in the band from 8th grade through senior year. The band director at that time was James Ferrara and he started the 5 year band program, so the band was really just starting to grow. We marched and did drills etc on the field, not in competition, but during football games. We did a nice job. I would have been thrilled to be a part of what you are today. I know what time and dedication it takes, and I admire all of the students, faculty and parents involved. Bob Penkethman was my cousin and I know how proud he was of the band. Again, congratulations and keep up the good work.

What a nice way to keep in touch, and to congratulate our fellow Panthers for bringing home another win. Great job! A special congrats to the drum line and percussion section for delivering such a musical performance in 2006. I had the honor of playing with (and learning from) your current drum instructors, who undoubtedly share the pride that I feel when I hear the sound of a Middle Township Cadence! Keep up the great work. - Ben Mount, ’95 , bmount@unc.edu

I went to Middle from '79 to '83 and knew I was witnessing the beginning of something special. The band was awesome then and looking at our track record and the new (to me) names of those in charge...it's no wonder we remain Champions! Congratulations to everyone involved!
