Entry ID: 1667504 | I am glad to see POP-WARNER football alive and well in Naples! I was part of the Naples PAL Gators for 3 years in 1989, 90 and 91 helping coach the older kids. I got the bug to look today and see if the program had a website and how it was doing and it appears the program has changed drastically with a Gator team not even existing today! We don't have Pop-Warner football in our arera which I deeply regret for my sons sake because I have never been around Midget Football as exciting as that experience was for me to be able to be a part of and I hope the program is still that way today! Good Luck to all of you and God Bless you all for being such positive influences and keeping such an excellent tradition alive and well in your great city! |

Entry ID: 1503016 | Naples Bears played a great game...It is hard to play a big game without one of your big men.....I am not sure what # Bobby is but we noticed # 2 was not in the game and we had him picked in film as a player to key on as he is the lead blocker..It seemed that the rest of the team picked up their play... |

MM lost 2 tough matches 6-0. 6-0 and the JM fought hard and brought home a 2nd place trophy losing in OT in the championship game. Well done boys way to finish the season. We are VERY proud of you and cant wait till next year. JPW way to hang in there Sat. you boys played a VERY good game and have nothing to hang your heads about. PW & MIDGETS good luck next week and bring us home some hardware.
