My brother Lee played for the Tigers. The Cardinals went to the League Championship Series a number of times. We had players in the league like Billy Cochia...Mike Albright...Harvey Cohen...Robbie Tinsley...Jerry Merchant and Jim Walker. It was the best of times and I will never forget it. My father and the other parents help build the first field and snack bar at Newmark. We moved over from a Kendall Drive ballpark. |
