Entry ID: 1440251 | Don't take playing the game for granted because before you know it its gone and you will regret it. Take advantage of every minute and never give up on yourself and don't let anyone give up on you. Play until you can't play anymore and when that happens keep playing. If the fire still burns in your heart then fuel it, don't try to put it out because it won't go away. You don't want to be the guy sitting on your butt 5, 10, 15 years from now watching other people play, telling yourself and others you were better. By then its too late. The only way to prove how good you are is by your play on the field right now and in the future. Don't live in the past. There is always room for improvement and you can never be good enough. Hard work pays off and remember there is always someone out there working harder than you. Get hungry. If you want it go get it! Live, breath, think, eat, sleep, drink, die... baseball. |
