Also I would like to say to fan of metro. It is funny how this time of year brings out u little guys hid behind your computer's yapping off because of the jealousy of another team success. You are just trying to put a bigger target on a teams back is all. These rumours you are getting going are totally false. We as a team in Noel Road respect this league and do not think we are too good for it. We seen it as a huge challange to become champions of everything last year and see it as a way bigger challange to stay on top with that target on our backs. Therefore we will remain in this league probably forever. So u fellas come out from behind ur little computer screen and play baseball on the field the way it is suppose to be played not taking intermission between ur porn searching to write dumb chirps. We know ur not a fan but obv a player. Good luck with ur world wide Web searching.

I hope I speak for everyone here and would like to say this new rule is nothing short of a joke. This is the game of baseball not softball these specific rules shall not be able to be changed as seen fit by these ppl putting them in place. Whomever has made this call is nothing short of unintelligent in the game of baseball and this should be voted on by real baseball minds. Sorry to offend anyone but the things that are decided in this league lately are starting to get out of hand.. I hope all team this weekend can come to agreement and fight this rule .

8.3.4. Extra Innings If the game is tied at the completion of regulation (7 innings – 6 for 11U), the following procedures will be implemented during extra innings: a) Each team will begin the extra inning (and any subsequent necessary extra innings) with a player on first and second, no out. (See example below to confirm who is on first and second). b) The batting order of the extra inning or any subsequent innings will be determined by how the previous inning ended. (See example below to confirm who is at bat) c) The traditional system of the visiting team hitting in the top of the inning and the home team hitting in the bottom of the inning will remain in effect until a winner is determined. Example: If the last regulation innings with the #6 hitter having the last plate appearance (PA), then the extra inning begins with the #7 hitter at bat, and the #5 hitter at second base and the #6 hitter at first base. With the exception of beginning the inning with runners on first and second base with no one out, all other “official baseball rules” and “Canadian Rules” will remain in effect during extra innings required to determine a winner. Note: This rule was adopted by Baseball Canada and it speaks to round robin games only. In our situation we will be using this for games 1 through 4. Saturday Game 1 1 vs 4 9:00 am Hall of fame presentations, awards and introductionof all stars and gold gloves Game 2 2 vs 3 11:30 am Game 3 loser 1 vs loser2 2:00 pm Game4 winner 1 vs winner 2 4:30 pm Sunday Game 5 winner 3 vs loser 4 1000 am Game 6 winner 5 vs winner 4 12:30 pmIn Games 1 - 6 the team which finished higher in the standings is the home team Games 7 (if necessary) 3:00 pm The winner of game 6 is the home team if desired

Okay, excellent! One more question, one team will make the finals undefeated while the other team will have one loss. Will the undefeated team have to be beat twice in the finals?

It's a double knock out tourney, so if u win your first game you will play the winner of the other game, if you lose you play the loser of the other game, it's a Saturday and Sunday tourney. You have to lose twice to be eliminated.

Hi Admin, Schooners are new to the league championship experience and we're curious if the tournament is one day or two? According to your earlier post we would play Noel early in the morning (on Saturday I assume?) After that are the championship and consolation games Sunday or the same day? Thanks, hope this makes sense.

Standings are up to date. Top four teams advance to next weekends League Championship in Noel Road. Normally 1st vs 4th at 9am I think, then awards after that game, then 2nd vs 3rd.

Windsor's record shows they played 23 games and have a record of 12-9. Are games missing from their record or does this have something to do with forfeits?

Anyone know how the seeding works for AAA? Do the 2 leagues cross over in different divisions? Example 1 and 3 from metro and 2nd seed from nsibl in a division. Or is each league its own division.

AA – Next two teams from each of the NSIBL and MIBL, 2 teams from Cape Breton (total 6 teams) As you can see as per 2015 BNS handbook it will be only 2 teams from each league and 2 caper teams.

I've always loved the best of type format. The problem that teams generally have with it though occur when you have players heading back to University and rainy weekends screwing with scheduling when you are in a league that plays mainly on the weekends. Also, there's the issue with making sure that both leagues finish their seasons at the same time - especially if you were wanting to start Labor Day weekend or even try to play the entire series that weekend. It's always something great to talk about though.

Yes I'm pretty sure there will be alot of rule changes for next year. Next Year I would love to see our league have it's own torney and the Metro league have its own torney, and the two winners have a best of 5 or best or 7 series for the AAA title. That would be awesome. Do some home and home stuff. unless its in Yarmouth, F#*k that just kidding guys don't flip out.

Thanks for the clarification. Being in charge of stats seems like it should be easy but it just takes that one stupid little mistake that even the most meticulous person can make and it can become a nightmare to sort out. I have great appreciation for anyone who does stats and you're right, everyone should be double checking their team games/wins/losses or whatever is being tabulated. Stat guys are not getting paid and are usually doing it either because the love stats or are a glutton for punishment or just realize that it is important and no one else is stepping up to the plate. Thanks for what you're doing - most people wouldn't want to do it. (-:

Before I read the rest of your comment there isn't a point awarded for a forfeit if you don't play the game. Yarmouth lost a forfeit but was awarded a pt because they were PLAYING the game they showed up and played. It was game 2 of the afternoon. The Royals were awarded 3pts and the win because again they showed up to play. A forfeit is 2 pts to the winning team none to the losing team. This is why the Royals have 3 wins. What isn't correct is the amount of games played. Also to note if teams played a makeup game and I don't have the date and they go back to that date and input the completed game I have no idea that's been done so yeah sometimes I have had to go back and double check teams records. By all means every team should be doing the same. I wouldn't leave it up to someone else.
