But say a team that is hosting finishes 4th... So it's the top 2 teams. I would be some god damn pissed off being the 3rd place team getting kicked out of AAA and the host finishing behind us and going AAA. Just my 2 cents. |

| Admin May 31, 2015 11:52:40 AM Entry ID: 2064424 | Agreement reached between the Executives of the metro League and the NSIBL Two year trial period 2015 NSIBL to host AAA and the Metro to host AA. It reverses next year. Six team tournaments unless the host thinks they can do eight. The top three teams from each league to play AAA. If the host is not in the top three then we use the top two. Two pools of three. Second place team from each league to switch pools. Play across using BNS format. After the top four teams are determined with two semi finals and a championship game. BNS tie breaking procedure to be used. The AA is determined in the same manner with the next three teams in the standings. Exceptions may be made if some other teams wish to move up. Application for hosting to be made to NSIBL Executive for AAA. AA goes to Metro. AAA by June 1, AA by June 7 with BNS approving the choices by June 15 August 3 is the date for determining our league championship. Second Monday in August to determine the placing for Nova Scotia Provincial Championship. |

I agree games do get missed due to weather and this year I think we need like 14 weekends but have a total of 12 or something like that. Obviously it makes scheduling a bit tighter with 4 teams using 2 fields and the head of umpires asked me not to schedule games specially for 2 certain weekends (I always forget his name). so that brings us down to 10ish weekends hoping for no rain. Well that lasted until today. |
