Coach Lefty Foundation
Kansas City Missouri September 28, 2010 2:03:43 PM
Entry ID: 1830754 | Dear Coaches and Cheer Coaches,
You have a new supporter! The Coach “Lefty” Leftridge Youth Football Foundation was formed to support youth football in the Northland.
Our father, Coach Lefty, was the offensive line coach for the Necco Raiders for over 20 years. He strongly believed in the value of organized sports for young people, both to the community in bringing people together and to the maturation of the individual kids he coached.
We have formed this foundation in his honor. Our goal is to raise funds for and donate to the North Surburban Youth Football League, www.nsyfl.com.
Please tell your players and their parents about us. Visit our website, www.coachleftyfoundation.org for more information .
Sincerely,
Ranelle Leftridge Gregory, Pres.

Entry ID: 1650047 | Our grandson is currently in the YMCA T-ball, but we want him to experience football, too... We don't have a clue if he will be any good or not. He would be starting with flag. One of the other mom's in his T-ball group suggest we look at your group. She seems to like it very much. I believe her older son maybe starting tackle this year...or next and the T=ball player will be doing flag of course. Grandson does live in the Park Hill school district. It would be wonderful if grandson could get both types of scholarships for Mizzou...but I won't hold my breathe... but I can cross my fingers. At least this could give him a head start toward learning the game, if he likes it. He is 44 lbs and 3'9" tall. He is also extreamely smart, but has the attention time of a gnat. |
