THANK YOU 3rd grade coaches...especially Coach Freemyer! The progress the kids have made has been awesome. It has been amazing to watch as they came together to become a team! Your dedication and patience is very much appreciated not only by our kids but also their parents. We certainly hope you will continue next year!

I think the program that you have is wonderful. |It has been everything that we hoped it would be and our son hoped for. I would like to thank all of the coaches and helpers for the time devotion to put together such a organized league. To those of us who work long hours and have hectic schedules we applaud you for the organization and smooth running of things. |Once again great job and great team work!! |Melissa McAdams

Just to let everyone know, I have overheard SEVERAL of the parents talking during games and practices. It has come to my attention, that ther are SEVERAL 5th grade boys that want to quit the team. There are even MORE that do NOT want to play next year. It's so sad that these boys aren't getting the fundamentals, teamwork lessons, or coaching that they need in order to become better players. It's going to be hard for them to adjust and Re-Learn the REAL way to play football once they hit 7th Grade. The 7th Grade coaches have a lot of teaching to do, since they are being taught the WRONG way to play football. You know how hard it is to teach someone a different way to do something, after they've been doing it for any amount of time?! There are NOT going to be enough players to play next year if we keep losing player's interests. I'm concerned about this, since 90% of the 5th grade team has a spectacular natural ability, and it's just being squandered. (unless of corse, that 'natural ability', existent or not, is in one of the coaches' kids, then they get all sorts of play time). The parents have been upset with the ongoings of practice, and inconsistency of games, but now the boys are complaining, wanting to quit, not wanting to play next year, and just FED UP with the entire thing. I have NOT heard of even ONE parent that is happy with the way things are going this year....EVERYONE is upset, but scared to do anything, or say anything, because of the fear that it will be 'taken out on their kid'. This is also a concern of mine as well...(hence, the non-existent email...so to comment on this, simply SIGN THE GUESTBOOK..It's annoynomous....let your voice be heard without getting anyone in the 'dog house'. ) These are our KIDS...not just positions on a field....Speak up for them, and let the board know our concern....post a message on the guestbook, or even better, email a board member! We have to do something!

There is a lot of parents that have witnessed some favortism as to the picking of positions. It was VERY clear, that certain players already had their positions before the 1st practice even started. "try-outs" were a complete joke, as it was ran in a way, where the "showboat" positions were already taken BEFORE anyone could even try out. Our suggestion would be: have 3rd grade coaches, pick 4th grade positions, and vice versa. Have 6th grade pick 5th, and vice versa, and so on..that way, the coach cannot show favortism to his own child like it was so obvious last year. I know there were some parents that wouldn't allow their child to play this year, and this is one of the main reasons. We all pay the same amount to play, so let's give EACH child the fairness and chance they deserve! Thank you. NW Hounds parents
