Entry ID: 1738653 | Sad news...To all that knew Karen Lajiness...Karen passed away Decemember 2, 2009 from Lung Cancer. Karen had been sick for several months but not knowing what was making her ill. She had a tough time and has now gone home. The Lajiness Family is on Facebook.

Entry ID: 1737564 | I am sorry you feel that way, but to blame me for the problems you witness after the game is childish.You can can always go to S.R. and express anger with the A.D. or the Dr.Moore. Discipline starts at home and not at the school or the park. Maybe you will make a difference on the park or at your school next year. Hated by some but Respected by many! |

Entry ID: 1736762 | I want to give some congrats to the raidernation coaches and staff. For years I watch the park grow and become better and I always felt there was a good core of parents and coaches and administrators but I remember about 2 years ago I was told by someone in an administrative capacity that Palmetto lacked discipline and that he was there to enforce what was needed. Well my daughter attends South Ridge (Go Spartans) and she is graduating this year. I was at the game this past week between Southridge and South Dade and at the end of the game there was a bench clearing brawl. As I scanned the field I saw this same individual and I thought to myself maybe the problem was not at Palmetto but at the administration. I wonder if there will be any consequences to that coaching staff or that individual. I do not hide my comments my name is Shawna and my son played at palmetto, so when I saw what happened this past year I was upset because my son did not want to play because there was no 135Ibs. I asked why and in not so many words alot of the coaches there and some administrators said it was due to this one individual and his motives. So I am here to say good riddens of bad baggage. I hope my alma matta learns their lesson too and gets rid of bad baggage. |

Entry ID: 1724046 | congrats to THE PEE-WEE'S AND JR. PEE WEES. COACH WIG & COACH TOM are some of the best coaches on that park. Raider Nation is still in the house no matter what some people try to do. Coach Knight no matter how many times they kick you while you down find a way to get back up and I'm glad to see you in another Pop Championship. That Pee Wee and Jr. Pee Wees are the best teams I've seen in a long time. I hope they make it all the way. Go Raiders.
And if you ain't Raider for Life then you got no business on our park or teams. |
