Mark, Me and a few people were talking about the league and how much fun it was. Do you think there's any way we can set up an alumni game? It would be a lot of fun if we got together again and played one more game for the Palisades Park Little League.

For fun I Googled myself and came across this site and found my (V. Walter Lewandowski) fathers name listed. I even found a photo of myself in the bottom front roe of the 1951 Dunn Moters Little League team. I recall that we used to play Little League on one of the Limburg fields with 4x4 poste that had rope strung through them to make up the outfield fence. I also see a notation naming my dad as a founder of the Babe Ruth League in 1955. That just so happened to be the year my brother Hank (deceased) turned 14 and the year before I turned 13. The outfield at the field was backed up to the little league field leaving center field so short that fly balls hit over the centerfield fence were called an automatic double.

I like the website...found it by chance. It gives us a way to see how our nephew Tyler John is doing. It makes us feel a little closer. Virginia, Rob and Catherine

I like the website. Being an alum of the PPLL, I think we need to show the 1985 & 1987 Champion Santaite Electric team though. :) Those were great years. I played 1st base and constantly tell my friends/family that it was one of the happiest times in my life. If anyone happens to be in contact with anyone from the Santaite Electric teams 1985-1987 (especially Ron Shingello, Sr or Don Scala)...please have them contact me.
