I talked to my daughter about what you had posted in your comment about how Bo said that you kept the jersey and she said that she was told that the jersey's were to be turned in with all of the equipment this year. She said that she was told that they were collecting jersey's to help keep the registration from going up next year. This makes since to me. As a grandfather I see everything they register my grandson for and throughout the year they spend alot of money just on registration fee's so any help with the fee's should be a blessing. So quit complaining or pay a higher fee next year. Pascagoula has one of the best youth football programs around. |

I was shocked to hear about the petition and haven't seen one at all but I wanted to let you know the reason why many parents are upset about the kids not getting to keep the jersey's. When I paid the 75$ for my son to play other parent's asked when had to be turned back in at the end of the season and Bo said only pads, and helmet, and the boys got to keep the jerseys. This is what I believed a portion of the 75$ was for and the rest was for the Pascaagoula Park and Rec. Center. I think 75$ is a bit much to pay for only 8 regular games and the kids get nothing to show for it. Last year the games were double of what they played this year. I would love to have more Saturday games. We payed the same amout for baseball and the kids played at least 16-18 games. |

Entry ID: 1710870 | i was sitting at the field on Monday night and saw were someone has started a petition about now wanting to turn in the football jerseys. Well i just want to give you my two cents. I coached in this league when my son came through. We never got to keep a jersey. Not sure what the fuss is about it is a jersey. Look around you at the other football programs. They do not have what we have the nice equipment like we have today. When i coached you got a helmet that was about 20 years old shoulder pads that were coming apart and pants and jerseys that should have been thrown away a long time ago. Our children has good nice equipment and uniforms so you should be greatful for this not trying to put it down just because you do not get to keep a jersey. |

Entry ID: 1707212 | RCS football coaches better quit recruiting pascagoula players. Keep it up and you will cut off the hand that feeds you. Remember War Memorial Stadium, that you play in, belongs to the Pascagoula School District. You will find yourself playing somewhere else if it keeps up. |
