Entry ID: 1661865 | Giving everyone an update on our progress here in Georgia! We lost our 1st game 5-4 to Royal Palm Beach from Ft Lauderdale. It was a great game by both teams. Congratulations to Cody Miller for hitting a 315 ft Homerun during the game and making the local paper! We won yesterday against the Southwest Jackets out of Georgia 14-2. We play again today at 5:30 against Royal Palm Beach again. The boys are pumped up and in good spirits! Lets go get them boys! You are doing a fantastic job! We will keep you posted on the results of todays game later! |

Entry ID: 1641625 | To all the current and future parents and players at Davis Field: Remember, this game is for fun and to learn the game and how to be good sports. My son played at Davis field and had a great group of kids, parents and coaches, for over 6 year. He learned sportsmanship and has made life long friendships mainly due to the leardership of his great coaches which included Vic McKay, Tom Oberer and Neil Perry. He has moved on a couple years ago and now plays high school ball and fondly remembers his Davis Field Days. Kids -PLEASE - remember when you stop having fun it is time to stop playing the game. Baseball is an all american sport and you should do it for yourself - NOT your parents or coaches. Good luck to all the all stars and ALL players. Keep up the spirit of baseball and pass on your skills and good sporsmanship to the younger kids in the league. You will ALWAYS be their role models. |
