This was a good season. This was our second year with our Raven Family. Both of my boys are looking forward to next year when they'll play together for you guys with the Seniors. I would like to thank the Juniors and Seniors Coach for the hard work this season. I learned a lot and the kids had fun. See you next season.

Being a first year mom with the Ravens, but not new to the league. I am very impressed with the coaches. They work hard with the boys. Also, coaches please beware of the boys school days when practicing. One thing the Ravens could use more of is, more clothing articles for sell. We would love to proudly wear the green & white gear and show our support by wearing it game day. Great leadership President!

I am writing to request that if you are willing, you would keep our elders, brothers and sisters in Samoa and American Samoa in our prayers as well as our elders, brothers and sisters in Indonesia. They have suffered much devastation. (http://topics.cnn.com/topics/pacific_tsunami_warning_center also see http://topics.cnn.com/topics/indonesia). We know that there are many players in our Ravens family that have relatives, friends and cultural connections to these homelands. I ask that we take a moment of silence to remember. We remember the lost, the missing and those who are in need of healing both physically and emotionally. Those who are grieving and those who are searching for survivors and laboring with all their strength to rebuild. But, most of all we count our blessings and remember to reach out and touch our children and families here in Seattle. Remember to tell them we love them today. Also, be may we mindful of those in the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam who face an uncertain 24 hours ahead as a typhoon lurks on the shores of these nations bringing more possible devastation and uncertainty. All of these cultures make up the Rainier Valley. This typhoon will affect someone you know. Let everyone we touch be met with a kind word, understanding for what THEY MAY BE GOING THROUGH and a little patience and love today. We are all connected, we are one family, the human family.

I am impressed by what seems to be a well run and well attended to organization. Despite a few snags and misunderstandings I have had all of my questions answered as a first year parent. It is all very intense and overwhelming to say the least! But, inevitably I find that when I ask, I get the answers I need. The most intimidating part is the fact that it seems like everyone knows what to do and how things are supposed to go. I did appreciate the intros at the first few practices and it helped me know the go to persons on the board. I am really aware that all of you are volunteers and how much work it must be to get this all up and running, a bit like herding cats at times. I am impressed overall. Maybe next year we can do a special BINGO for the first year parents where we learn some of the terminology like "certification" and "snack schedule" or how to read the game schedule. That way the old timers could yell out the answers and we newbies would not have to feel stupid. Glad to share my insights and once again, impressed by this site and by the organization so far. Thanks to ALL of the volunteers for your love and service - A Proud "GREEN" Ravens Mom

I look forward to a great 2009 season. A very proud Raven family we have become. Last year was my sons first year playing and daughters first year cheering (not that anyone could tell) and I have to say that I wouldn't change a thing about the way this organization is ran, and maintained. Having a cheerleader and a ball player I was able to experience things from both sides. The cheerleaders took themselves to a new high and are a force to reckon with. And taking the boys to the championship double overtime was a GREAT experience. So In light of all of this, THANK YOU RAVEN FAMILY..and I look forward to this upcoming 2009 Season!!! Go Ravens!!!!!

I am glad to see the Raven's doing so well, as a former Rainier coach I am liking what I see and here, it reminds me of the time when Rainier football really meant something. So keep up the good work and I will be looking forward to my son first season as a Raven

My son is so much happier with the Ravens than with his past experiences. And, I am thankful for the professionalism and cohesiveness of the organization reps and leaders. It is obvious that leadership truly cares about the kids and their families. This time it not only feels right, it is right. Keep up the great work you do!!! Peace and many blessings!!!

This will be a new experience with a new team or league. I was very impressed with the professionalism in meeting with the organization representatives on both occasions which helped me confirm my decision for a change. Two of my grandchildren stayed for school last year, played football and loved the experience but I was searching for an overall better scope of leadership. With the decision to incorporate two more of the grandchildren, totalling 4, I wanted their experience to be memorable and meaningfull. I have a Pee Wee, 89er and two Bantams so this will be a long day for me and my husband, but what better way to spend family time (smile) Pray Blessings to All whom's hands have Organized !~~
