avila July 16, 2017 12:24:04 PM Entry ID: 2083932 | The Brian Waterbury Staff do such a great job with this event. The careful thought placed in every piece of the run. Water support is very hard to manage on the beach but is done very well. The medals are very detailed and since I have but one for the half marathon they actually take on a artwork kind of feel. The running hats are a bonus and used regularly. I love this race and will be back next year and I promote the run to each time I have an opportunity Charles DeMott |

I was looking forward to it and trained so I could finish the race, which was my goal. Now this year, I'll be walking with a friend who has entered this event several times and a friend who will be walking for the first time. The three of us plan to finish together, no matter the time. Thank you for arranging this event every year. |

This will mark the 10th anniversary of his passing, through the years his daughters, grandchildren, parents, nephews, nieces, cousins and siblings have run or walked the course in his memory. It's a wonderful route along the beach and as a walker always in the back, I enjoy the camaraderie of fellow participants, it's a race for everyone! |
