The 16U team that was not voted in as a travel team was offered an option to play SWS travel with our organization and he turned it down. At that time the organization already had a 16U travel team, but, since his "friends" weren't invited in to use field time, that would take away from Romeoville girls, he QUIT. Tell me, who is the one who's not looking out for the good of the program?? Certainly the quitter isn't! If you are so concerned--show up to a board meeting! |

Entry ID: 1729813 | I think the reason why those teams left is because the board doesnt want to get bigger. If you look at the board it is ran by all coaches that are looking out for their own teams. The President and VP of Travel both have travel teams. Those travel teams are 12u and 11u. So they are worried about the younger girls not the older ones in the league. When reading the By-laws it says Romeoville and surronding towns. Is Naperville not a surronding town? I know that they didnt want an older 16u team but it makes the Program stronger and gets the Romeoville Revolution name out there. That is my 2 cents on this issue.

Entry ID: 1729665 | Dont know where they went. As to why, they would have to answer that. From my point of view, it seemed like they already had this all planned out before the meeting. The board did not let another travel team of Naperville girls join and then they stated they were leaving. The 14u will be in their 3rd town in 3 years. |

Entry ID: 1728553 | whos left? i dont attend the meetings but my kid is a star. chuck is the greatest,,, i agree with the teams jumping from town to town, just trying to use the parks for free, there not able to be in other programs cause of bad hisory and try to come and take over young programs,,, |

They do not want to become "rent a town" for softball you would have known that had you attended the meeting. But alas, you are one of the parents that only complain never attending a meeting I am sure. Personally, I am sorry to see both teams go, but it seemed like they had already decided they were leaving before the meeting. Isn’t this the 3rd town in 3 years for 1 of the teams that left? Think the problem there is with the coach, not the Revolution… |

Tell me how letting that team in was a benefit to the program? Either step up to the plate and help the direction of the league or dont gripe when you dont get your way. 1 team is not bigger than the league and if you cant see that, sorry. |
