The girls had lots of fun and can't wait for the next camp. I was a great pleasure meeting everyone and look forward joining you in an awsome upcoming season. Many thanks go out to Juanita Velasquez for letting us hold camp at her studio. It was a wet, hot and muggy day. We all appreciated it. Thank you all for your Roughneck support. |

My father Ed Leonard was the "Father of All Play Football" in Richmond/Rosenberg and started the Roughneck organization. He was the first President of the Roughnecks, and served in that position the first 2 years. I still have my jacket letter from the 1972 Junior season. The next year we played in Rice Stadium for the area championship against a team from the NASA area. Roughnecks won of course!! That was the same year the Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings played the Super Bowl at Rice Stadium. Hope you all a great season and GO ROUGHNECKS!!!!!!!!!!! |

There are four games left in the Season ands all teams can still earn a playoff birth. You have moved away from the standard R and come up with something unique. Much praise goes to everyone who strives to make this organization better for our children.
