I FINALLY stopped in this evening on a whim to see what it was. I liked what I saw. I have a very interesting fit/nonfit past. I am now in a position where I really need to get myself back together and make it a LIFESTYLE. You wouldn't know it by looking at me, but in 2011, I ran a half and a full marathon in Italy. I did it to lose weight. I lost 65 pounds during the training phase. I had an extreme hardship in 2011 and I basically quit running. I am active duty Army (on my way out) and am struggling with weight loss. I tried running last week and only completed ONE MILE. I began Karate in June of this year and I was starting to feel better until I had to leave the dojo. I fell in love with Karate and want to continue but now that I am into martial arts I want to explore EVERYTHING. It's kind of an addiction. I want to kick this unhealthy lifestyle for me, my kids, and to be an example to follow. IT'S TIME. So, I signed your guestbook basically to say I liked what I saw when I walked in this evening. I look forward to coming in for a class and finding out more about your place. |

Pine Ridge April 15, 2010 12:13:18 AM Entry ID: 1780770 | I was very proud of the team that we took to the SC Submission Grappling Tournament. I was very proud of the Home school student that Michael Thomas had been coaching(James,Zach, and Justin). All of those guys had tons of heart and fought very well in their first tournament. Also Trucker Spires and Michael Thomas came up a little short this time, but had a great tournament! Andy Elrod and son Dillon Elrod both won their divisions. Morgan Thompson finished 3rd in her first grappling tournament. Great job to everyone that was there! |

I started attending the boot camp class back in the summer months and haven't been able to get enough since then. I now attend the kick boxing classes, a few grappling classes here and there, and even competed in a grappling tournament that thanks to my coaches I placed second in the womens divsion. I would advice anyone to try a class out. There is something for everyone of all ages. The rest of the staff is great and we have become a Ridge Pointe family. Love you guys! Ridge Pointe ROCKS!! |

I have loss 7.5 lbs and now can wear a paor of pants I was never able to get into. I might add that I am "the old lady" in the class. This is a great workout and the first time I found something that is fun and I CAN DO IT!!! Andy and Donny insure everyone gets a workout. I am sleeping better and am not tired all the time. |
