Dear RSCIOANS ,
I wanted to brief you with this update as I updated the corners except the sunday fast pitch league even though it has a start date. The league is staying on top of things to the best of it's abilities and even though we can't tell you everything but new surprises are in store as I will continue to separate myself from all other leagues and introduce new things for you to continue talking about each and every year. Managers who are attending the upcoming Jan 10th meeting must bring the initial deposit so that we can do our part with the parks dept to insure our permits are done in a timely manner. We have room for a whooping 48 teams playing between 8 am & 3 pm. We are also adding new umpires as I told you things are going to be stricter this year as I have named 3 crew chiefs to oversee the umpires and they have been notified as to what will happen. I will be the arbitrator of this league when it comes to protests. All other decisions involving teams , suspensions and rosters , rules and regulations will come from Irv. As stated before , I am handling the umpires but in a different manner than before and all administrative work that involves this website and the rules and regulations which need to be distributed to you at the final meeting. We are also playing our exhibition games out of school fields which are of course turf fields to get everybody ready for the season. I will not post the start of the exhibition season until 2 weeks before we begin. This will keep people out of our hairs as I will not be caught out there again. New fields will be on the horizon and old fields will be returned to us for 2010. Once again , thanks for a good season and to all a happy holidays from RSC and company !
