I would like to say good bye to one of the most dedicated volunteers our league has ever had, Donna Fisher (Mattola) Donna’s life was cut short at a very young age last week. And as the past President of the SNLL 2001-2004 I know the importance of a volunteer, a league can not run without volunteers, well this was a lady who without a doubt, volunteered, protected and served the kids and parents of our league for 20 + years with the greatest of love and respect for every child who stepped on our fields. To her family my love and prayers are with you, and know she will never be forgot in the hearts of all that knew her.

Hello! My son Jacob attended a fantastic baseball camp last week. It was held at Granite Hills High School. John Barnes (Granite Hills grad) who made “The Show” is the director of the camp. He currently plays with the Red Sox organization. He is working hard to get his West Coast Baseball Camps off the ground. I cannot say enough positive things about the experience. It was well run, the instructors were top notch and personable. The kids who ranged in age from 7 - 15 all had a great time and certainly gained new skills. The next camp is January 13th and 14th. He would like to have another one in February if there is enough interest before he starts spring training himself. I feel very strongly that this is a very valuable clinic to all baseball players. You can get more information at their website: www.wcbaseballcamps.com Please forward this to anyone you think might be interested. Thank you!
