Entry ID: 1647899 | Hey, now that there is a working website, any chance you'll be adding stats for the college wood bat league? This would be a great way to attract more fans of the site. Rosters would be nice as well!! |

Now that I see there are only 9 teams this summer what happened to the goals established by last year's league officials ?

Entry ID: 1187188 | This is a reply to Mr. None's post on August 16, 2007.
According to this website's stats, Jeff Little has pitched 45 1/3 of the Angels' 144 innings this year, or about 31.5%. This leaves 98 2/3 innings pitched by other players, or 68.5%. Also, the Angels have played nineteen games this year. No team in the league has played more than twenty. So basically every team in the league has the same luxury of playing about one game a week. Also, I'm pretty sure every other team in the league was throwing their best pitcher against the Angels.
What I'm trying to say is that Mr. None's argument really sucks. |

Entry ID: 1186280 | The coach from the Angels was ejected from the Game tonight. According to league rules he should have been made to leave the park completely, but the umpires chose not to enforce this rule. It shows in the preable that there is no exception to this, but yet there is if you are the Angels. The rogues did not have the proper jerseys for the game, but did have umpires approval and according the league rules it states that all players must wear matching jerseys with numbers. It DOES NOT state that you can not use the same jersey for different players in the lineup. I am wondering if the coach will even end up having to pay the mandatory $25 fine or miss the next game like is said in the rules or if that team gets to play by a different set all the time. The rogues have been shit on all year by the league. No league bats supplied until three games ago. Still show as 3 bats short that should be league supplied. This is ridiculous. Some fault lies w/ our coach n mgr., but vast majority lies within the league |

Entry ID: 1185378 | Hey Chandler! Mr. None just called you retarded for the fact that you can't read an updated post on the TBF standings/rankings for the N.A.S.P.B.A. Are you gonna take that? My guess is that Mr. None is a disgruntled member of a team that didn't make/or have enough OLD TIMERS to compete in the TBF playoffs. Besides that he said we only have one good pitcher. As a Angel Pitcher I personally take offense to that with my 9.00 ERA. Maybe we SHOULD go and play softball. |

Entry ID: 1184552 | New rankings came out? Wow, I thought the header on the pages with the rankings said that they are from July 3rd. I am not a genius but I am fairly sure that those are old.
I wonder how good the Angels would be if they had to play more than one game a week and couldn't throw their one good pitcher. Just a thought starter.
If you were curious, the new rankings are out, and the Angels are 18th in the country and the Brewers are 24th. For clarity I think I need to explain how a team gets ranked. It is a very scientific process. First you must write emails to the guy who heads the poll and then you have to win a couple of games (not a lot of games and not even against decent competition). The truth is that the only people who care about the poll are those who have nothing else going on in their life.
The fact is this. No team in this league should ranked in that poll. Half the teams in the league are good the other half are mediocre at best. The only way one can tell if they are any good is to go play in tournaments outside the league. But no one in the league has enough pitching to do so, so they can't. Thus they are not a good baseball team. They have some good players and one to two good pitchers. This is the scenario with the older teams in the league. They are the ones who complain about playing more than one game week. If you are on a team that is filled up with a bunch of your friends and you just want to go out and play baseball, that's fine, but don't complain when one of the better teams in the league wins easily. If you want to get your buddies together and hit a ball around for an hour or two, start a softball team.
This league has a lot of issues. One of which is the lack of vision. The league has too many teams who only care about themselves and are only willing to do things that fit their best interest. The decision needs to be made about whether or not this is supposed to be a league where good baseball is played or a rec league in which no college or former pro players are allowed to play in it. Right now it is somewhere in between, and when you are in between you are no where. |

Entry ID: 1175119 | Hey! New rankings are out and with 14-4 record, the Blazers are #2 in the state and the only team ranked in the national rankings from our league...that's funny considering they have the 3rd best record in the league...
Who's ranking these teams anyway? |

I just saw the national rankings...why are the Blazers ahead of the Angels? Aren't they 2-0 against the blazers??? They must use the BCS Computer formula...

Entry ID: 1167918 | Games are now not even being scheduled a week in advance. This makes it pretty tough on people with other things going on in their lives, like careers. I still don't understand why games can't be scheduled further in advance. The last time I commented on this I got some explanation about how the commissioner was trying to establish "relationships" with the schools. How does scheduling games at the last minute establish relationships? |

Entry ID: 1161318 | I think it's uphauling that the "commisioner" of the league has affiliation with a team in the league. That may explain why that team didn't play a league game for the first 2 or 3 weeks, but have now played more league games than most of the other teams. Scheduling is easy when the "commisioner" invokes his power over the league. On the subject of scheduling, can we get a complete schedule? Is it that difficult?
Supposedly, the league tournament will be moved up to accomodate a certain team by allowing the college players to play in the tournament before returning to school. When did this become a college league? I thought that's what the Sandlott League was for? Also, from what I understand, after the tournament is completed, teams will still play games to ensure that they play their "money's worth of games." If this is true, then this league has become a joke and any league administrator that would agree to this should be ashamed. |

Entry ID: 1148930 | Brad, there is a contact list on the web page. On that contact list it shows myt email address, the commissioner, if you email that address it will be answered. And yes I do like to erase guestbook entries that do the league harm, like the one you just sent telling me I am a joke. If you have a problem come to me about it and hear my story before you decide to trash talk me. |

Entry ID: 1138948 | I see this league deletes signatures in the guest book when they do not agree with the league. As much money as we pay you would think there would be a message board or atleast if you email someone in the administration that would answer you back without dancing around your question. What a bunch of losers! |
