Tallahassee, FL - Big Bend, Blue Rams Jr. Midget November 8, 2010 6:21:05 PM Entry ID: 1843809 | I would like to congradulate the Crystal River Sharks Jr. Midget Team on their win this past Saturday against us (Tallahassee/Bigbend Canopy Oaks Blue Rams). We came to teach the Sharks a thing or two about football but instead we were taught. We were taught about sportsmanship, hard work and having a complete game plan. I am very impressed with this program and would like to thank Timucuan for a very pleasent experience (except for the loss). The organizers were courteous and polite to us. The thing that impressed me the most was after the game we shared a prayer with the Sharks and then the Sharks young men congradulated OUR team on a good game. I have learned about how well this team has been taught and coached about what football should be about. I am humbled by the behavior of the players, COACHES, and parents of these boys and wish them success all the way to national. They would represent our region very well and are to be commended. GOOD LUCK in Sante Fe!!!! |

Here is a parent that is ONLY concerned about her child! Maybe they should have had a Banquet just for him making 1st Team or how about a signing bonus for next year. Yes Congratulations are in order for ALL the children who participate in the Pop Warner Organizations and especially those who make the list for National All American Scholars. Timucua Conference keep up the good work! |

Congratulations to them all, especially Fischer McDaniel (my son)who was the only 1st Team Scholar. What a shame that the Timucua Conference didn't acknowledge him personally for it, I'm really dissappointed! I see trophies and plaques handed out all the time for sponsers (it's like giving their money back to them) but isn't it all about the kids? |
