Entry ID: 1630146 | Ready for a busy week-end Twirlers? Reminder our 4 hour mandatory class is Saturday, May 23rd at the NBCC Gym in Saint John from 1 to 5pm. This is our last 4 hour practice before Provincials. We know every one will do their very best. Then Sunday, May 24th, we will be having our 2009 Year End Recital at Rothesay Park School Gym. All twirlers need to be there by 1:00pm. Please bring your outfits that you will be using in your recital as well as your Twirl Zone black t-shirt and black shorts. Doors will open at 2:15pm for the general public. Tickets may be purchased at the door: Adults $5 / 5-12 years old $3 / 4 years old and under: FREE. The twirlers who won the trophy for Twirl Zone Primary, Juvenile, Junior and Senior Athlete of the Year please bring with you so we may announce the new winners. Your coaches still do not believe the year will be over. Thank you to all the parents who supported our club by making sure the athletes came to all the practices, competitions, parades, fund raisers and private classes. Emma and Sam earning a Blue Ribbon for Pre Solo Dance, super! Amanda winning your Solo, Jordyn and Kayla moving up a level in one or two events, Melanie winning your 2 Baton, Kendra winning your Solo Dance and Stephanie you finally competed in 3 Baton. Fantastic job, twirlers!! Take a well deserved bow. Thanks for everyone helping out with the competition. We had lots of good comments on our St. Patrick's Day decorated gym. Thanks to Brenda (CBAC) for helping out and we certainly enjoyed your Dance Twirl Teams!! The winner of our St Patrick's Day Basket was Wanda Woodward,she was a twirler herself when she was a little girl. We have only 4 weeks till the Atlantic Challenge and right after the AC only 4 weeks till the 2009 BNB Provincials!! We have New Goals to Reach, work hard, listen to your Coaches, try your very best and have fun! Enjoy your night off this Wednesday and we will see everyone either on Sunday at NBCC Gym or next Wednesday, April 8th. Do you think we should do a large team...... Thanks again everyone for making the 2009 St. Patrick's Day Open Regional Competition a huge success. |
